Bay Pools has been operating in the greater Nelson area for
the past 5 years and has built 50 in-ground shotcrete (pneumatically
placed concrete) swimming pools in that time. Tasman Bay Pools
is owned and operated by Tim Stadler who immigrated to New Zealand
8 years ago from the U.S. and is now happy to call this his
home.
In his teenage years Tim worked with his father in the pool construction
business and struck out on his own when he was 20 and has been in
the business ever since, except for a brief hiatus spent exploring
his new homeland.
Tim has over 750 pools he has built to his credit in the past 30
years. This extensive experience gives him the ability to build
not only a very high quality pool but also the efficiency to offer
a competitively priced product.
Tim has studied architecture and design and brings with him what
most consider a flare to his work. He also brings from the States
the latest construction methods and designs, some of which had not
made it to N.Z. previously.
